Oil Painting - Start to Finish (Boot Camp Series) 3 of 8
Fall Session: This class will be an on-going oil painting class. We will be painting from still life, and models. The class is designed as an ongoing class, meeting 8 weeks in the fall, 8 weeks in the winter, 8 weeks in the spring and 8 weeks in the summer. The class and lessons are taught on an individual basis, making beginners to advanced students welcome. If you are brand new to the art of painting you may wish to start out with some drawing exercises, but that will be between you and Susan, the instructor.
Susan Diehl, an artist and art instructor, who recently moved here from Phoenix, Arizona, has taught and is still teaching workshops at the well-known Scottsdale Art school and on the workshop circuit around the country. She is setting up art class at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center! The session will be ongoing eight weeks in the fall session, eight weeks in the winter session, and eight weeks in the spring session. The first session (8 classes) will be beginning drawing. It is individualized instruction and people will advance independently through drawing onto black-and-white oil, and eventually full color oil. The first session will be just beginning drawing and everybody doing the same thing. Susan anticipates that eventually the class will be filled with people at different levels doing different things.
