Arts Education Video Outreach

This educational outreach, launched in 2024, is made possible by a grant from the TN Arts Commission.

Mrs. Jennie the Art Teacher shares arts education suitable for the whole family with insights from fellow artists and walks you through the featured tutorial. These lessons meet the TN state curriculum standards!

Thanks for checking out our free Arts Video Outreach Portal. Please share and remember, #ARTMATTERS !

These lessons are excellent to incorporate into anyone's home-school curriculum and we encourage educators in the public/private school systems to take advantage of these quality videos for your classrooms as well! ♦ Starter line sheets are available for each lesson, printed on heavy duty cardstock, perfect for many mediums - only $3 each! Visit our Independent Art Classroom (IAC) during OPEN hours to get your sheets.

♦ You may work on these lessons in our Classroom at our "Sketch and Stream" Video Outreach Station (designated table with a TV mounted on the wall) and use our supplies, or you can take sheets home to work with your own supplies and view the video in your own space and time.

♦ If you'd like to sponsor a 'Class Pack' of starter lines for any of our outreach videos, please email the President, Jen, at [email protected] or text 931-652-2391 to get the ball rolling.

This outreach is made possible by the Arts Education Community Learning grant from the TN Arts Commission.

Support the Arts in Tennessee!

In Tennessee, a portion of funds from the purchase of certain Specialty License Plates supports the arts, specifically the TN Arts Commission who is the F-LC Arts Center's main grantor. Without their support we wouldn't be able to offer half the outreach and opportunities we do! Tn4Arts promotes and defends the Specialty License plate program by working to ensure these funds are protected and available to support arts organizations and projects in all of Tennessee's 95 counties.
