Intro to Guitar with Daniel Henderson

Daniel Henderson is a local musician & music teacher. He has taught guitar for several years at Fayetteville High School and is now the music & band teacher at Highland Rim School.

In this guitar class you will be able to dive into the basics of playing guitar. During your two hour session, we will discuss parts of the guitar, tuning, reading and playing chords and tablature. This class is designed for anybody that has ever wanted to get started with playing the guitar but didn’t know where to begin. The goal at the end of the session is to be able to find resources and have the basic knowledge to continue learning what was demonstrated in the class. Tab paper, guitar chords sheets, and a pencil will be provided. All you need to bring is your guitar.  If you do not have a guitar, please let us know.  We may be able to loan you one for the class.  I will assist in tuning them at the beginning as well.
